The Cantada Sports Center is managed by the Cantada family headed by Edgardo Boy Cantada, brother of Joe Cantada. His only two children are both athletes and sports achievers. The Cantada is a family of sports enthusiasts and athletes. Their aim is to share the passion and love for sports and recreational activities. The mission and vision of Cantada Sports Center is to provide the opportunity of playing like a pro while having fun, and to instill the value of sportsmanship in each player. It does not matter if you win or lose rather its how you play the game.

The Cantada Sports Center is an All-in-One ultimate indoor and outdoor recreation and sports complex, located on a one hectare property in Taguig, Metro Manila. Boasting of its supreme quality sports facilities such as the professional NBA indoor basketball gym complete with Porter goal, backboard system and digital scoreboard, Everlast boxing area, outdoor beach sanded volleyball court and shooting ranges, the Cantada Sports Center can accommodate small or big group events of athletes, sports enthusiasts, corporate, family reunions, gatherings or school happenings.

Therese Cantada is the oldest sibling among the child of Edgardo. She is a member of several national teams for world events, Therese gained numerous awards as a record holder in the Air Pistol event and a consistent medalist during the SEA and Asian games.

Edgardo’s youngest child is Gerard Cantada. He is the Tournament Director in the 11th Philippines International Junior Golf Championship 2011. Gerard was a former member of the Philippines Junior Golf Team to various international competitions. He won the Asian Junior Title for 11 and under in 1987. After 4 years, he gained the Championship trophy in Topolino, Italy. At age 20, he started his own golf school-Gerard Cantadas Golf Academy. He has been teaching interested golf individuals of all ages from as early as 5 years old to senior citizens.

The legendary Smokin Joe Cantada is one of the greatest Philippines Sportscaster of all time. Joe was the senior anchorman of the Vintage PBA Coverage in the 1980s who is well-remembered by his booming voice and witty use of the English language. Up to this day, no one has come close in giving nicknames to players such as TriggerMan-Alan Caidic, SkyWalker-Samboy Lim, The Captain-Alvin Patrimonio, and The Big J- Robert Jaworski.
